What is a typical class like?
There is no such thing as a "typical" class -- because every day is
different! Guaranteed-- in a three day a week program -- You will do,
cardiovascular training, abdominal exercises, flexibility &
strength training as well as a variety of other training techniques.
How will it be served up? I guess you will have to come and find out.
What level is the class/Will I fit in?
Every class has every level of fitness represented in it, from
triatheletes to people who have never worked out before in their lives.
Go at your pace in the class. Our instructors will encourage you to
push yourself, all the while teaching you to listen to your body.
You'll be surprised at how well you will fit in, as long as you come
with a determination to finish, commitment to your team and a
willingness to sweat!
What qualifications do the instructors have?
All of our instructors are certified and/or degreed; CPR certified and
have several years of personal training and/or group fitness training
experience. Some of us have been through specialized training - such as
Marine Corps Boot Camp, Full Contact Kickboxing, Russian Kettlebell
Training and more. Take a look at our Instructors section.
How long do the sessions run and when does the next session begin?
Each boot camp runs for 45 minutes, three times a week for three weeks. Click on our schedule to find out when the next boot camp is being offered.
What if my alarm doesn't go off or I have to work late or feel sick one day -- can I do a make-up class?
No, we do not allow "make-ups. Why? This is a course that makes you
accountable. You don't just pay your money and then blow it off -- this
is not a gym -- we want you to work out, be committed and determined to
get results!
What is the cost for the 3-day a week session?
$180.00 for the 3-week boot camp.
Where will the boot camp take place?
Class meeting point and additional information will be provided by your instructor at your scheduled fitness assessment.
What happens when it rains?
Wear warm, water repellent clothing, you will workout in the elements. Remember, "Those who are Committed and Dedicated get Results!"
Will I lose weight?
If that's your goal, you sure will! How much? That all depends on your
personal health, what you do and what you eat the other 23 hours of
your day. Your instructor will cover some of that information within
your sessions. If you need a more focused program, talk to us about our
AMP'D classes.
Do I need a physician's release?
It's always a good idea to get the green light from a medical
professional before you begin any exercise program. All participants
are responsible for submitting a boot camp waiver form prior to
beginning an "Adventures In Fitness.biz" program.
